Users will often try and share information within Teams. Consequently, users will often forget that there are at times External or Guest users in Chats or Channels and will subconsciously copy and paste sensitive information in. As a result, this can lead to data loss where the External or Guest user sees this sensitive information of which should only be shared internally.
